Connecticut Financing Update and Today's Mortgage Rates 11/9/12
The weather is definitely cold now but it's still a perfect time to purchase a home and/or refinance your existing mortgages as rates have been on the rebound for the better. MBS are down -3/32 (FNMA 30-yr 3.0 at 105.13), which is about 8/32 higher than yesterday at this time. Favorable repricing took place yesterday. Early investors may have priced at much higher levels around +1/32. After a strong rally following the Obama victory, MBS have given back a small portion of their gains this morning.

Conventional 30 year fixed 3.5% APR 3.564%
Conventional 15 year fixed 2.875% APR 2.960%
Conventional 5/1 ARM 3.00% APR 3.049%
Conventional 7/1 ARM 3.00% APR 3.057%
The above rates are based on a loan amount of $417,000 for a single family home, a borrower’s middle credit score of 780 and a 20% down payment.
