Westport CT Weekly Real Estate Market Report 3/08/11

WESTPORT CT HOMES: Almost 10% NEW inventory! There are currently 277 homes on the market at an average price of $2,211,162 that have been on the market an average 123 days. There were 17  new listings and 1 home came back on the market after being under deposit. 6 Properties had a price change. In the last week,  6 properties have gone under deposit, which is what we call CTS. This means that the property just took a binder, but all the contingencies have not yet been met. 8 properties went into Pending status, which generally means that the all conditions have been satisfied, and the property is just waiting to close. The Westport Market is gaining more strength! The 2 properties that closed in the last week had an average price of $1,572,000 and were on the market for an average of  209 days. Thos e hard er to sell properties are moving, now! There were a total of 56  property status changes in all.

WESTPORT CT CONDOS: There are currently 24 condominiums on the market listed at an average price  of $526,694  that  have been on the market 117 days.  There were 2 new listings . No Properties had a price change. In the last week, 1 property went into CTS status,  and 2 properties went into pending status. No properties  closed in the last week. There were 6  property status changes.

There are currently 98 rental opportunities available  in Westport at an average list price of $8032 per month, and have been on the market an average of 64 days. Rental pricing does reflect seasonal rentals.
